Aibete Morning Meeting Sharing — Problem Identification Requires a Holistic Perspective and Systemic Thinking
Excessive fluctuations in aerial photography data: At the end of last year, we undertook a project related to aerial photography. The vision system output showed variations on the order of tens of microns, with precision far below the required level. We contacted the supplier, who conducted a thorough inspection of the vision software and recommended replacing the camera and optimizing the linear motor parameters—but none of these measures resolved the issue. Finally, upon inspecting the light-source controller, we discovered that its slow response was the root cause. In summary, troubleshooting requires a holistic mindset and systems thinking: it is essential not only to examine the primary components but also to scrutinize secondary ones.
